Connecting with your horse before riding is an essential part of the equestrian ​experience. This pre-ride ritual not only helps you establish a bond with your horse but ​also sets the tone for a safe and enjoyable ride. By taking the time to groom, tack, and ​connect with your horse, you are building trust and mutual respect that will carry you ​through the ride.

Our horseback riding experience in Patagonia offers the perfect opportunity to ​connect with these majestic animals. Our horses are well-trained and friendly, making ​them suitable for riders of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced rider, ​you'll find our horses to be accommodating and easy to ride.

What are we doing?

We’ll pick you up in Puerto Natales at you hotel or accommodation, the ​transfer takes 25 minutes to our barn. From there we start with a ​grounding excercise and with a guided connection with the horses. We’ll ​get our horse from the pen, brush him, saddle and then hop on for abrief ​instruction on how to ride.

The ride offers views of the glacial-formed valley of Tres Pasos, ​surrounded by mountains, we ride throught an old Ñirre forrest in the ​middle of a traditional kettle ranch. We reach Lake Figueroa and we ​head back. The ride is around 2,5 hours.

When we get back to the barn, we offer them a nice treatand we let ​them go. Our transfer will take you back.

Minimum age? 4 years old, riding its own horse on a rope with the guide.

Just a few tips for your experience:

• Bring warm comfortable clothes, that you can get dirty with too ​(horse hair, a little mud maybe)
• If you have waterproof shoes, they are preferable 👍🏻
• The bathroom is currently not available at te moment in the barn, so ​please remember to go to the toilet before you leave your hotel.
• You can bring carrots or apples as treats for the end of the ​experience :) (optional, but highly recommended)
